Francesco Totti and his partner, Noemi Bocchi, appear to be in trouble after leaving their young children at home alone, without a nanny, from 9pm to midnight, to dine out.
Italian media reports that the famous couple was targeted by the Rome Prosecutor's Office, which, after a lengthy investigation into child abandonment, decided to close the case. After the investigations, it turned out that the couple's three children, the former Roma captain's youngest daughter and Noemi's two sons, were not in any danger during those three hours.
The evening for which the investigation was conducted was on May 26, 2023, and at that time Totti's daughter was 7 years old, while Noemi's sons were 9 and 11 years old.
According to the prosecution, the former footballer's daughter had a mobile phone at her disposal that allowed her to be in contact with her father in any case, and moreover, she was not alone at home, as Noemi's children were also with her and could seek intervention if necessary.
But not only that, the couple's nanny was also investigated on charges of child abandonment, and the Prosecution requested that the case be closed. However, this case is not yet closed because Francesco Totti's ex-wife, Ilary Blasi, has another opinion on this event, with the latter coming out against the case being closed.
According to Blasi, that evening, the girl was entrusted to Totti, knowing about the little girl's breathing problems, but despite this, Totti, always according to Ilary Blasi, preferred to go to the restaurant and not bothering to leave a nanny at home to take care of the girl. Now it will be a judge for preliminary investigations who will decide who is right.
In this way, a new chapter is added to the clashes between Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi that have been created since the first moment of their separation.
But what happened on May 26, 2023?
Francesco Totti and Noemi went out to the restaurant. During the evening, Ilary's mother called the little girl and realized that there was no adult at home. Neither was the nanny. So the police were called to check the situation. But the former captain was called before the police car showed up and the one who called was Vito Scala, Totti's 'right-hand man' since his first steps at Roma, Scala himself was notified by a Roma manager, who received a signal from the police himself. When the police went to the scene, they found the nanny at home, but the latter had only entered the house a few minutes earlier, after a request from the couple.
The nanny's version was immediately refuted by a video that was recorded by the three children during the 3 hours they were at home and that no one else appears in the video except them. According to Ilary Blasi, this construction of the story shows that Totti was not worried about the girl and that he encouraged the nanny to lie.
