Elon Peltz, the father of actress Nicola Peltz, has spoken publicly for the first time about the family tensions surrounding the marriage of his daughter and Brooklyn Beckham, the son of David and Victoria Beckham.
The 83-year-old billionaire was asked about the situation during an event in West Palm Beach, where he chose to be measured in his statements:
"My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and this is not the time or place to discuss it here. But I can tell you that my daughter is amazing, my son-in-law Brooklyn is amazing, and I can't wait for them to have a long and happy marriage together."
Peltz added that his relationship with the Beckhams is mutual, noting that he sometimes gives them advice, but often takes advice from them.
His statement comes just days after public reactions from Brooklyn Beckham, who made it clear through several Instagram stories that he had no intention of getting along with his parents. Brooklyn leveled accusations about the way David and Victoria have managed the family's image in the media over the years, writing:
“My whole life, my parents have controlled the press stories about our family. I have recently seen how far they will go to spread countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their image. The truth always comes out.”
Meanwhile, his siblings – Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham – have recently been seen on several public outings alongside David and Victoria Beckham, putting on a united front, while Brooklyn remains distant from these family moments. Last week, during Paris Fashion Week, the rest of the family appeared together, excluding Brooklyn.
