A week ago, in "True, Untrue" it was learned about the breakup of the friendship between Monika Salihu and Arta Bajrami. This development came after the joint potpourri held at the end of last year, leaving followers surprised and curious about the reasons that led to this rift.
Monika spoke about this topic for the first time in an interview with journalist Granit Miftari and actress Arjola Demiri (who speaks in the Kosovar dialect) on TV21. She has highly praised Arta as an artist since the early years of her career, underlining that her respect for the singer remains unchanged.
On the incident that ruined their relationship, Monika shared candid details, showing that it was not a quiet situation.
"I don't know who was talking about what. I respect Arta Bajram with all my heart and soul and I've had this feeling my whole life. We grew up together. We did two collaborations that ended. No one has ever had any serious problems with me. There was an unpleasant moment in a studio. I have a phobia when someone yells at me. Not even my father did this to me, so I get angry. And it happened at that moment. Nothing more. I understand Arta as a mother who suffers. She is a very good person and I wish her success. I just can't stand being yelled at," she said.
To defuse the situation, Monika emphasized that there is nothing personal between her and Arta, and she did not even rule out the possibility of any other collaboration in the future.
