Renowned Albanian footballer, Mërgim Berisha, and his wife Edona Berisha have confirmed rumors that they will become parents for the first time.
They shared the news themselves through a post on social media, where Edona published several photos with her rounded belly and romantic moments alongside Mergim.
Alongside the photos, she writes: " Two hearts, one love and soon, a little angel to heal us."
Mergimi and Edona Berisha ended their celibacy and married in a luxurious ceremony in August 2024. They have often been commented on due to sensational statements regarding their relationship.
Recall that the footballer left model Vesa Vllasaliu, to whom he was engaged, two weeks before the wedding and made his romance with Edona public. Vesa was also close friends with the latter and accused the player at the time, saying that he raped her and betrayed her.
Vesa Vllasaliu stated that she suffered greatly from the footballer's betrayal and despite friends telling her that Mërgim Berisha had replaced her with her friend, she refused to believe it.
