Eli Malaj, for the first time, shared with the public the story of her parents' separation and the sacrifices her mother made to ensure a better life for her children.
Eli confessed that her mother was only 24 years old when she separated from her father. "The father is married to a wonderful lady, he had two children, he raised them like a light, but we didn't have the luck to know each other because they grew up far away. I have no regrets, life never knows, but I am thankful that I grew up with my mother," she said, showing that she had a difficult childhood, but supported by a strong mother.
Eli emphasized that her mother had an exceptional upbringing and was a strong woman, whom she described as "a woman". She spoke with emotion and praised the mother for the way she managed to raise her two children without causing them any discomfort. "My mother has an education and it's a bit much to call her a wife. 24 years old and don't cause any trouble to the children, because the child can't choose, he doesn't have the strength, he doesn't have the heels, only my mother did it," she said.
Touched by emotions, the singer added that throughout this period, they also faced contempt and insults from some family members. However, she said that her mother never lost her pride and managed to raise her two children with great sacrifices. "My mother was a lady, raised two children, sold blood, fainted on the street. I have never said it in interviews, it is not victimization. This is what my mother and the mother of many went through, but how many mothers are there who suffer?!"
Through this narrative, Eli Malaj has shown an unknown side of her life and honored her mother's sacrifices, emphasizing that she is a true hero for her and many other women who have gone through similar challenges.
