Journalist Albana Bejko, invited to "Goca dhe Gra", has recounted for the first time her story with the doctor from Kosovo who intensely persecuted her, Behar Kamberi.
She said that the harassment had been going on for more than a year, until she turned to the institutions and reported him, which subsequently led to his arrest.
Albana also showed the messages he sent her, telling her that 'he was the man of her dreams' and that she 'loved him very much' and wanted to marry him.
"A scary moment was when in the premises where I work, the person approached me and asked me to sit down for coffee, at that moment my reaction was instinctive, scared, I said 'please get rid of me'. 4 guys passed by at that moment, and that scared him a little. The intense period of persecution was June of last year until a few days ago, and I then called the police," she said.
"Hello Alban from Behar. I am the ideal man for you. I am an intellectual doctor, a gentleman, handsome and sincere. The two of us have always communicated and will communicate well and healthily. I have a good financial situation and travel the world.
These are the traits that you fulfill so don't hesitate anymore. But let's get married and live together in an apartment here in Pristina but also in Tirana. Where you repeat all the things you will have and put them in place, nothing will be missing.
"You will continue to work as you are now. Albanë, consider me as the ideal man to propose marriage to. I expect reflection from you," were among the messages he sent to the journalist.
She has told the entire origin of the meeting with the Albanian from Kosovo, and then the contact that the latter has made on various social platforms, including her personal number.
"I was at a restaurant. He asked me to take a picture with him, I did it very kindly. From that moment on, I saw a kind of tendency to get closer, but I put it down to the fact that we are public figures, these are things that happen. I also received messages on my personal number. I received phone calls, not knowing who I was dealing with, I asked him to leave me alone because I had no interest.
I have had obsessive, delusional messages, which according to him allegedly planned his life after the photo. Since 2020, I have received messages from this person. But I think the close meeting has caused him to have reactions afterwards.
I did not receive any gift from him, contrary to what was said, that it was about a perfume. Seeing that the intention is sick, I would not accept any gift. I was scared, I changed my lifestyle.
"I had a debate at the prosecutor's office about this part. I received messages that were aggressive, not in content, but when I said no 1,2,3 times, he continued. I told him that if he bothers me, I will report you to the police," said Albana Bejko.
