The singer said he intends to apologize to Gjesi and criticized those who spread messages of national hatred between Albanians in Albania and Albanians in Kosovo.
"I felt empty. I miss a part of myself. I want to give a message. While expressing his reasons for hitting Gjesti, he stated: This was a weakness of mine due to the strong emotions I accumulated during my time there. I was upset about someone else. I took everything into account when I hit him. He touched my nose. From my perspective, when you touch a man on the nose, it's like you're insulting his mother. My body is mine, no one is allowed to touch me. I don't apologize to Gjesti.
