Kourtney Kardashian revealed she needed "emergency surgery" to save her son's life.
She shared a black-and-white photo of husband Travis Barker holding her hand and said she was "not prepared" for the health emergency.
“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors who saved our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband for rushing to my side from the tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterward,” Kourtney captioned the emotional photo.
Kourtney added that she was afraid of the surgery that would ultimately save their baby's life.
"I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear," the TV star continued.
"I have a completely different understanding and respect for mothers who had to fight for their babies during pregnancy," she added, among other things.
