In May, Lionsgate CEO John Feltheimer said the film would “likely” be pushed back to 2026. Although filming wrapped in May 2024, the project went through reshoots and the initial editing was lengthy. There were even thoughts of splitting it into two parts. The latest information, according to international media reports, is that the production budget is $155 million. The film will be released by FX on Valentine’s Day 2026.
