Cristiano Ronaldo continues to be hungry for goals and does not know how to stop. The Portuguese champions scored twice tonight as Al-Nassr won 3-1 against Al-Gharafa in an AFC Champions League group stage match at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.
After a goalless first half, the 39-year-old striker opened the scoring soon after returning to the field when Sultan Al-Ghanam delivered a cross that was headed into the net by the Portuguese.
In the 58th minute, Angelo Gabriel showed composure in front of the goal to overcome the opposing "keeper" and double his team's lead. A few minutes after the 60th minute, Ronaldo scored the second goal, with Gabriel returning to assist in this action.
Former Real Madrid striker Hozelu scored a consolation goal in the 75th minute for Al-Gharafa. Sejdu Sano's red card in the 84th minute after a second yellow card for bringing down Sadio Mane ended the match there.
With three points achieved today, Al-Nassr leapfrog local rivals Al-Hilal in the Group B table to move up to second place with 13 points after 11 games. Al-Gharafa drops to seventh place. Ronaldo's side will next play Damac in the Saudi Pro League on November 29 as they hope to return to winning ways in the Arab league.
It is worth noting that in the last five games for Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team, Christiano has scored five goals.
