The tragic event that happened today in the "Asllan Rusi" sports palace, where a 16-year-old collapsed and later died in the hospital, brought panic and then sadness to those present who experienced the event up close in a Saturday where as usual the plant is full of activities.
"Panorama Sport" has learned from people at the scene that in the hall where the incident first took place, a youth basketball match had just finished and they were preparing to play the men's teams of Partizan and Vllaznia for the championship match between them.
They had seen how panic was created when the boy fell to the ground among his friends, but then he was normal for the moment and left for the hospital. The match had then started, with the idea that his condition had improved and everything was going normally. But then the meeting was interrupted by the police, who announced the terrible news of the boy's death, demanding to examine the scene, according to investigative procedures, and to interrogate witnesses of the case.
Shocked by this news, the players of the two teams have agreed to stop the match in question and take place on another day, abandoning it and leaving the sports palace.
