Anis Mehmeti is officially a player of Ipswich in England. Today, medical examinations were carried out, to be followed by the official transfer. The contract signed with the Championship club is valid until 2029.
In an interview for the club's official website, Mehmeti appeared happy about this transfer:
" I'm really excited to have signed for Ipswich. Everything the club is trying to achieve matches my ambitions and that speaks for itself. The fans are amazing and I can't wait to play in front of them. I'm a hungry player with a desire to win and I want to score goals, provide assists and do everything I can to help the team. Everyone knows the ambition is to get back into the Premier League and I'm here to help us achieve that ," said Anis Mehmeti, among others.

The transfer fee from Bristol City has not been made public. A move to another Championship club could not be prevented, as the Albanian striker would be out of contract at the end of the season.
Mehmeti leaves as one of the most important players of the last two seasons at Bristol. In total, he will keep the memory of 26 goals and nine assists. This departure was announced three days ago.
The move to Ipswich is a big step in his career, as Ipswich are aiming for direct promotion to the Premier League. They currently hold third place in the standings, two points behind second place.
The coach at Mehmet's new club is Kieran McKenna. The 39-year-old Englishman is considered one of the most promising.
