The match between Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split ended in a dramatic 1-1 draw in the first leg of the 16th round, with 14 yellow cards. Albanian striker Arbër Hoxha's goal in the 102nd minute sent the capital's players into a frenzy.
It was precisely the finalization of the national team winger that enabled Dimamo to defend its lead in the Croatian championship even after this week with 32 points, 1 more than Hajduk, as the 27-year-old was awarded "Player of the Match".
Hoxha started the match as a starter, despite the injury he sustained in the match on December 1 against Gorica, showing good physical form.
