Ardian Ismajli will play the last two games of this season in Serie A with Empoli and then bid farewell to the Serie A club. The defender's contract with the club ends in June and in all likelihood, there will be no continuation in the collaboration between them.
Thus, the defender of the Albanian national team is looking for a new arrangement for the future and one of the hypotheses that had often appeared in the media was that of Napoli. It is now reported in the Italian media that it was Ismajli who, through intermediaries, recently offered himself to the Neapolitans.
But the latter, focused on the title fight, have put everything on hold regarding the transfer market plans for next season. However, Ismajli's profile at the moment does not seem to be the one preferred by coach Conte, so it is not expected that there will be a positive response for the Albanian defender soon.
