A decade has passed since Michael Schumacher's horrific crash in the Swiss Alps, with the Formula 1 legend still seemingly fighting for his life. Although he was put into an artificial coma and underwent several operations, his condition continues to be kept a secret by the family of the former pilot.
However, it seems that Ralf Shumaker, the brother of the 7-time World Champion, who has also been a Formula 1 driver, has chosen to break the silence somehow.
In an interview, he said that his brother will probably never fully recover from the horrific accident and that life was unfair to him.
" I miss Mikael of the old days. Life is so unfair sometimes. He was very lucky during his life, but then that tragic accident happened. Fortunately, advanced science has brought us many opportunities. However, nothing is as it used to be.
Mikael was not only my brother. He was also my coach and mentor. He taught me everything about car racing. We may be 7 years apart, but he has always been by my side. We raced together, trained together and did everything motorsports related together.
The accident? It was a scary experience for me, but even more so for his children. Life is so unfair sometimes. This fate changed our family ", said Ralf Shumaker.
