The January transfer market did not bring major changes for Albanian footballers who are active abroad, despite the numerous rumors and speculations that circulated in recent weeks.
Names like Mario Mitaj, Marash Kumbulla and Elseid Hysaj were often rumored for a team change, but in the end none of them moved, continuing the adventure with their current clubs.
The national team captain will continue to stay at Lazio, even though he has ended up out of the team. Mitaj is not playing for his team in Arabia, while Kumbulla has not settled in very well at Mallorca.
