The sports world receives the bad news, the Israeli bombing kills the famous Palestinian soccer player

As the fighting in Gaza continues, Palestinian football has received some bad news.

Mohamed Barakat , one of the legends of Palestinian football, has been killed by Israeli bombings in his house in Khan Yunis.

Israeli bombs hit Barakat's family home on Monday afternoon, where the footballer lived alone.

Barakat was part of the Palestine national team, while playing for the Ahli Gaza team in the national championship. The 39-year-old had scored a total of 114 goals and was known as the "legend of Khan Younis" for the spectacle he gave on the field.
