Lionel Messi's welcome ceremony was delayed by the rain and storm that started in Miami. One of the co-owners of Inter Miami, David Beckham was filmed losing his balance and almost fell.

Thankfully, the 48-year-old regained his balance and managed to stay on his feet. This did not go unnoticed by Jorge Mas who jokingly pretended he was slipping too.

Beckham didn't let this moment bother him for the rest of the big night for him and Inter Miami. At the end, he took the stage giving a moving speech that recounted his journey as a co-owner of the team.
