The fate of Armando Broja continues to remain in question. Although the passage to Ipswich was almost closed, things changed. But it seems that the negotiations continue.
Ipswich coach, Kieran McKena, confirmed the talks and stated that there should be no hint of a problem in the medical visits, as long as there is no official announcement about it.
"We have spoken with Armando. The club is in talks with Chelsea, but I am not aware of what has happened in the last 24 hours. Negotiations are taking place and we will see what happens before Friday. Problems with medical appointments? No other rumors should be discussed until something is officially confirmed," said McKena.
Asked if he was optimistic that Broja's transfer would go through, McKena said: "To be honest, I'm optimistic about Wednesday night."
Initially, it was reported that Chelsea and Ipswich had agreed on the transfer of Broja, on loan for one season, with an obligation to buy for 30 million euros, if survival is ensured.
