The coach of Albania, Silvinjo spoke about the injury of captain Berat Gjimshiti. The red and black coach stated that he has spoken with the player and is waiting for the Atalanta match this Saturday.
According to him, if Gjimshiti will be part of the Italian club in the championship, he will join the National Team.
"I spoke with Gjimshiti. The captain of this team is also very important. Life is so beautiful. He was not at Euro 2016, but returned as captain. We wait to see. Atalanta plays on Saturday and if he is ready, he will come with the team," said Silvinjo.
Asked about the left wing and Mitaj's replacement, Silvinjo stated that there are three alternatives, mentioning Hadroji, Hysaj and Balliu.
"Hadroj trains with us as a left defender. Hysaj played on the left. Balliu also played as a left defender. The only one we have on the left side is Mitaj. It depends on the match. All three players can play as a left back. We have analyzed who can be the substitute in case Mitaj does not play", said Silvinjo.
Albania will play in the League of Nations against the Czech Republic on October 11 and against Georgia on October 14.
