Tirana Police have drafted a plan of measures for the smooth running of the match between Partizan and KF Tirana, which takes place today at 4:30 PM at the National Arena.
Authorities will block several road segments from 2:00 PM until the end of the event. The list includes Mother Teresa Square, Lekë Dukagjini and Dervish Hima streets, as well as the roads around the stadium.
The police have designated specific routes for the movement of fans in order to avoid clashes. Law enforcement will accompany the groups along the approved routes and will not allow changes to the route.
At the entrance to the stadium, checks will be carried out for prohibited items, including sharp objects, water bottles, umbrellas, metal keys and pyrotechnics. Each fan must present an identification document. Children under 16 years of age will only be allowed in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.
Police will not allow entry to persons previously identified as problematic in sports activities and urge citizens to avoid driving in blocked areas during designated times.
The fan routes will be as follows:
– The movement of "Partizan" fans will be as follows: starting from the Engineering area, on "21 Dhjetori" street, then to "Libri Universitar", continuing along the Presidency, on "Gjergj Filipi" street, to "Coin", to head to the N stand.
– The movement of “KF Tirana” fans will be as follows: departure from “Skënderbej” Square, to the former “Dajti” Hotel, Dajti Bridge, return to ETC, on Elbasani Street, “Dervish Hima” Street, then towards “Sheh Ahmet Pazari” Street, “Ambasador 3”, to head to the V–S entrances.
The police will guarantee and ensure the movement of fans along designated routes and will not allow gatherings or crossings outside the designated route.
In accordance with the plan of measures, rigorous checks will be carried out on fans before entering the stadium, for illegal items (hard objects, water bottles, umbrellas, metal keys or pyrotechnics, etc.). Each fan must be equipped with an identification document.
Citizens without identification will not be allowed to enter the stadium. Also, children under the age of 16, even if they are equipped with a ticket, will not be allowed to enter without the presence of a parent or legal guardian (accompanied by identification).
Fans previously identified by the Police as problematic at various sporting events will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
Tirana Police requests the understanding of the respective fan clubs for the implementation of the above measures, as well as the understanding of citizens to avoid driving on the aforementioned road segments during the specified times.
