Ernest Muç's situation remains unclear as the deadline for Trabzonspor to buy his card approaches. The Turkish club has the right to buy until May 10, but has not yet made a final decision, leaving open the possibility of the Albanian striker returning to Besiktas.
According to reports from Turkish media outlet Sozcu, Trabzonspor's management are reluctant to pay the requested €8.5 million. The club is believed to be seeking a price reduction, but has yet to reach an agreement with Besiktas.
On the other hand, Besiktas' stance appears firm. Sources close to the club emphasize that there is no room for further negotiations.
" If you don't buy him, we'll sell him somewhere else ," Besiktas executives are quoted as saying.
The issue comes at a delicate time for Trabzonspor, who are fighting for second place in the league, just two points behind Fenerbahçe. A position that ensures participation in the qualifying stages of the Champions League, making the decision for Muçi even more important in sporting terms.
If Trabzonspor does not activate the clause within the deadline, the player will automatically return to Besiktas, the club that owns his card.
Meanwhile, the situation is further complicated by interest from other clubs. Turkish journalist Efecan Oztas, close to Besiktas, has revealed that there is concrete interest from three European teams.
" There are 3 clubs from Europe that have approached Besiktas to start talks for Ernest Muç. If Trabzonspor does not exercise the option by May 10, the club will start negotiations with these teams ," Oztas declared.
Ernest Muçi has had a successful season with Trabzonspor. In 37 matches played, the 25-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists, becoming one of the team's key players.
