Tirana has surprised everyone with the last communiqué where it is announced that it has not fired, but has suspended coach Orges Shehi. Through an announcement on the official channel, the runners-up announced that Durrsaku will be under contract until the end of this football season. A case that deserves the greatest attention, which seems to have surprised even coach Orges Shehi.
Newsport.al contacted the Durrsak technician, who briefly explained what had happened today in the capital. He said that he had gone to the next training session as scheduled, he was ready to train the players, but there he was informed by the director Tefik Osmani that the presidency had decided to fire him.
" The situation is very simple. Today I was in training in Tirana. I changed, I got ready and there in the dressing room, the director comes, who told me that I have been fired. I accepted the decision because our profession has these things, but I also asked him in writing. They also brought me a letter that I had been dismissed and I went out to meet the players. I greeted them and continued my work ", he says first, then stopping at the statement of the Tirana club.
" I am surprised by that announcement. I cannot enter the field of jurisprudence to understand the legal terms used by Tirana. But, today I was informed orally and in writing that I was dismissed ", he adds.
At the end, he shows the contract with Tirana: " I signed a contract with Tirana until May 31. There was no condition for suspension, as I am not subject to breaking the Discipline or Sports Ethics", says Shehi surprised that it is not enough, but put an end to all the rumours.
" I am Orges Shehi and I would respect the contract with Tirana until the end. Nothing that is said and written is true. I don't have a pre-contract or any prior agreement with any club in Albania or abroad ", he concluded for Newsport.al.
