The official practice for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which is taking place at the Imola track, has started with a scary accident.
Juki Tsunoda's Red Bull car went off the track in the first minutes of the first session. The Japanese driver lost control of his car, which went off the track and flew over the protective barrier.
For a moment the car was upside down, but eventually it fell with all four wheels to the ground. Fortunately, there were no consequences for the driver, Juki Tsunoda, who was accompanied by the safety car for medical checks.
The HALO system saved the Red Bull driver, while official practice was interrupted for several minutes and the red flag was waved.
