The 2026 World Cup will be the biggest event ever organized on earth, and not just on a sporting level.
" It's a combination: the first time in three countries, the first time in sixteen cities, 48 teams, 104 matches and the longest tournament duration."
"From our studies, we believe we can reach 6 billion euros in total tournament engagement ," said Romi Gai, FIFA representative, during the Social Football Summit taking place at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
" It's going to be like hosting 104 Super Bowls in five weeks. It's going to be a more global event than ever, global and local at the same time."
