Qualifying for the first time in the World Cup play-offs has not been enough for the Albanian national team to climb the FIFA rankings.

The victory over Andorra brought minimal points, which were neutralized by the home defeat to England. Thus, the Rossoneri have lost 0.27 points compared to the ranking a month ago and have fallen from 61st to 63rd place.
