FIFA has launched the official match ball for the 2026 World Cup, a sphere called the "Trionda" that celebrates the historic agreement to host the tournament by three nations, while featuring advanced technology to help referees make instant decisions.
The Adidas-designed ball takes its name from the Spanish for "three waves" - a nod to Canada, Mexico and the United States hosting soccer's biggest showpiece together for the first time.
The “Trionda” features national symbols for each host country – Canada’s maple leaf, Mexico’s eagle and the United States’ star – with touches of gold that pay homage to the World Cup trophy itself.
