Flamurtari has been declared the champion of Albania in women's basketball, after winning the third final game against Partizan with a score of 76-55, closing the final series with an overall score of 3-0.
The team from Vlora showed a clear lead throughout the final series. Even in the third game, held in Vlora, Flamurtari started the match at a high pace, creating an 8-point advantage in the first period (14-6). The controlled game continued in the second half, which ended with a score of 39-29.
After the break, Flamurtari widened the gap, closing the third period at 57-38. In the final minutes, the coach activated the new players, while the match ultimately ended 76-55.
This title is the 27th in the club's history and the second in a row. In the last six seasons, Flamurtari has won five championship titles, confirming its dominance in women's basketball in the country.
The current season is considered special for the team, as it ended without any losses, only with wins.
After the match, a celebration began among the players and fans at the Sports Palace in Vlora. The championship trophy was handed over to captain Muçenji by the president of the Albanian Basketball Federation, Avni Ponari.
The award for the best player of the finals (MVP) was given to Gedeon, part of Flamurtari.
Coach Elona Hasanaj and captain Muçenji described this success as an important achievement for the team, while the president of the Albanian Basketball Federation, Avni Ponari, praised the season as positive for Albanian basketball.
With this triumph, Flamurtari completes a successful season, winning not only the championship, but also the Albanian Cup and Super Cup.
