Fulham in the Premier League are considering bringing Anthoni Cacin, the defensive midfielder of Mainz in the Bundesliga, to the team. Born in France, the 27-year-old of Albanian origin has been part of the German football elite since 2022 and has shown growth in his game, so much so that Silvinjo and the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) have initiated contacts to wear the red and black.
'TEAMTalk' in England learns that Fulham wants Cacin as part of the team and will do their best in the coming summer transfer window to have a player with great value in the team, who plays on the right and left wing.
It all comes after Keni Tete will not be part of Fulham due to the expiration of his contract and the leaders have spotted Caci to strengthen the team in the same position. Caci is the main target of the summer and Fulham have started talks with Mainz to understand their terms.
Given that Caci's contract expires in the summer of 2026, Mainz will not go below 8 million euros to release the Albanian. The valuation is considered fair by Fulham, with the latter seriously considering an offer this summer.
Rivalry - Fulham is not the only one in the race for Cacin, as several other clubs from the five strongest leagues in Europe, including those from Portugal, have shown interest in Cacin.
The Albanian Football Federation (AFHF) enters the game - In recent months, Caci has been contacted by Silvinjo himself and Federation officials to be part of the red and black national team. Born in Forbach, France, Caci came out of the youth ranks of Strasbourg and this season has played 30 games with Mainz, scoring one goal.
