Albania achieved the minimum objective in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The Red and Blacks ended the qualifying campaign in second place in Group K with 14, securing qualification for the 2026 World Cup "Play-Off" stage for the first time.
But in this qualifier, the national team's players have "shined". Some with goals and assists, some with appearances, but there are also those who have run endlessly. In a post on social networks, the Albanian Football Federation has revealed the 5 fastest players on the team.
Nedim Bajrami, Arbër Hoxha, Armando Broja, Myrto Uzuni and Mario Mitaj have covered entire kilometers on the playing field. First place is held by Bajrami, who managed to run the fastest in a qualifying match, where his maximum speed was 34.18km/h.
Arbër Hoxha followed him, reaching a speed of 32.98 km/h, while Armando Broja and Myrto Uzuni reached the same speed of 32.23 km/h. The fifth fastest player for the red and black national team in these qualifiers was Mario Mitaj, with a speed of 31.47 km/h.
