It also happens that you get arrested in the middle of the field while playing. A young 24-year-old soccer player was arrested during an amateur soccer match in Brazil. The footage shows the police action that interrupted the match.
The police removed from the field the football player who is facing very serious charges. A video published later on various social networks, filmed by some spectators in the stands, shows the young man being taken by police officers during the match between Mutum and Durande for the "Copa do Café".
The police had received information about his presence in the match, so they arrived on the field, stopped the game and handcuffed the player. According to the police, the 24-year-old is suspected of several crimes. There was a preventive arrest warrant against him.
The arrest warrant issued against him identifies him as the suspected leader of a vicious drug-trafficking clan in the Espirito Santo area. He is also accused of being part of a clan of assassins from Vitoria who organized an assassination attempt against a rival a few weeks ago.
Minas Gerais military police later confirmed to local media that the footballer had long been known to the police because he had criminal records including assaults, threats, drug trafficking and firearm-related crimes.
