"We are ready to die on the field to beat Albania", the coach of

The coach of the Moldovan national team, Sergei Kleshchenko, answered the questions of journalists at the official press conference dedicated to the match with the Albanian national team.

" The national team has been training with full strength since November 15. All 25 players called up are preparing. After the evening training, the medical staff will tell us more specifically who is ready to help the team and to what extent.

I know the Albanian national team, we played with them not long ago. We lost 0-2, I hope we have drawn conclusions and I hope for a positive result tomorrow. The most important thing is that the players understand the importance of the match, everyone's eyes are shining, they understand that people will fill the stadium, they will be excited and support them. We treat our fans with great love and understand the responsibility that falls on us. There will definitely not be indifferent people on the field. Now the match with Albania is very important, we are not thinking about the match with the Czech Republic yet. We understand that it is better to die on the field now than to leave everything for the match with the Czech Republic ", said the Moldovan coach first.

Which of the matches played before can you compare with tomorrow's match with Albania? We usually play number two. Will we play more attacking football tomorrow?

– We cannot fundamentally change anything. But I want and hope that tomorrow we play like in the second half of the match against Poland, when the spirit, the fight, and were present. Everything was on the field.

Have you read the statements of the coach and players of the Albanian national team for this game? They unanimously say that Moldova is a serious rival. How do you perceive this?

- No, I have not read them. I try to concentrate on my work and not read the interviews of my opponents, because they won't say anything serious anyway, only about football.

Despite the results in the matches with Albania and the Czech Republic, this is already the most successful qualifying campaign in the history of the national team. Together with Sherif's performance, can this become an impetus for the development of Moldovan football?

I really hope so. I hope that our performance will give impetus to the progress of the teams in all age categories. The only difference is that "Sheriff" is a more stable team, it has been playing in the group stage of the European Cups for several years. I hope that we will also show from year to year that this year was not an accident, that we will stabilize the game and please the fans not only with splashes, but with some kind of stability.

Given the importance of the matches, you must have had some kind of conversation with the leadership of the Federation. What did they talk about, maybe you were even motivated with some kind of bonus?

– We have set bonuses for each match before the start of the cycle. And there are no changes yet. But I think if there is a positive result then I will go to the dressing room and show the players some new ones.

Will Ion Nikolaescu be able to play for 90 minutes tomorrow?

He has micro-injuries that are bothering him and the medical staff is doing everything possible to keep him from getting any worse.

About the situation with Artur Ionica. Is it the one that doesn't want to come or are you not counting it anymore?

I don't have an answer to this question right now. If you wish, we will discuss this after the qualifying round is over. Those who were called are now preparing.
