A referee has drawn attention at a football match in Peru when he karate-kicked a member of the team's staff who was protesting a decision.
The entire scene that is making the rounds around the world happened in the match between Sport Huaquilla and Magdalena.
In the 82nd minute, one of Magdalena's team members hit referee Luis Alegre with a bottle, while the latter had issued a red card.
In a fit of rage, the referee kicks the staff member, as in the sport of karate.
This situation increased tension and required police intervention to quell the fighting on the field.
