Tim Civeja was the protagonist for Saarbrücken in the final week of the championship, scoring in the dramatic challenge against Hansa Rostock, won by the guests with a score of 3-4. However, the triumph was not enough for Hansa Rostock to secure a place in the play-off stage for promotion to Bundesliga 2.
The Saarbrücken team started the match with a two-goal deficit, but reacted in the second half. In the 75th minute, Tim Civeja sent the ball into the net, temporarily overturning the score in favor of the home team.
However, Hansa Rostock reacted again and managed to take the three points at the end of the match. Despite the victory, the team was unable to celebrate qualification, as Essen's rivals also triumphed in the away match against Ulm, retaining the place that leads to the play-offs.
For Tim Civeja, the season can be considered positive from a personal perspective. The Albanian midfielder ended the championship with five goals and seven assists, being one of Saarbrücken's most important players during this edition.
