Trabzonspor is expected to take steps to finally buy Ernest Muç's card. The attacking midfielder has convinced the Turkish club's management with his performances, while coach Fatih Teke has publicly expressed his great faith in the Albanian national team player.
In a statement to the media, Teke indicated that the club has discussed Muçi since the moment the decision was made to have him on the team, appreciating his professional approach to training.
" We had a conversation at the time of the decision about Ernest Muçi. So far in training he has been very professional and tries to listen as much as he can. Sometimes, due to circumstances, we cannot activate him in the position we want. There have even been cases where we have used him in the role of number 6 ," said the Trabzonspor coach.
According to Tekes, the Albanian midfielder still has the potential to give more on the field. He emphasized that Muç's physical and technical data are at an elite level, comparing them to the standards of the strongest European leagues.
" Muçi has even more to give. All his data is at an elite level, I'm talking about big leagues like the Premier League. He should influence the outcome of matches more. He will become even stronger. He has the character to play in any team ," added Teke.
Statistically, the 24-year-old is having one of the best seasons of his career. He has scored 13 goals and provided 8 assists in 26 appearances for Trabzonspor.
Currently on loan from Besiktas, Ernest Muçi seems to have found his best form, increasing the club's interest in finally transferring him to the Turkish team.
