Fenerbahçe achieved a convincing 4-0 victory over Gaziantep in the Turkish Cup, even though their coach, Domenico Tedeschi, was not on the bench.
The Turkish team's coach was absent from this match, as in the previous match against Antalyaspor, due to an infection that forced him to temporarily stay away from professional activity.
Through an official statement, Fenerbahçe clarified the coach's health situation, announcing that Tedesko is receiving the necessary medical treatment. Meanwhile, the team's management in these matches has been entrusted to assistant coach Zeki Murat Gole.
Despite the absence of the head coach, Fenerbahçe managed to dominate the match against Gaziantep and secure a deep victory in the Turkish Cup.
According to information from the club's medical staff, Tedesko's return to the bench is expected to happen very soon. He could be present in the weekend's league match, where Fenerbahçe will play away against Samsunspor, a match considered delicate for the team.
