Former Albania U21 midfielder Erdis Kraja is expected to continue his career in the Italian Serie C, where he is close to a transfer to the Pineto team.
According to recent reports from Italian media, the parties have reached a preliminary agreement, while only the last details remain to be finalized. The 26-year-old midfielder has not found the right space this season at Pescara, being activated for just over 30 minutes in total and recording only one appearance in Serie B. This situation has influenced the player's decision to seek an environment where he can have more minutes and a more important role in the team.
Last season, Kraja was one of the key elements in Pescara's success in getting promoted to Serie B. He played eight times during the regular season and seven times in the play-offs since January, making a significant contribution to the team's goal. Pineto, on the other hand, is having a positive season, currently ranked fourth in Serie C and in strong competition for a ticket to Serie B.
Kraja's arrival is seen as a valuable reinforcement for the midfield. Kraja also has five appearances with the Albanian U-21 national team, without ever being able to convince to be part of the A national team even though he has played in Serie B.
