Ylber Ramadani could see his playing time increase significantly in Lecce's upcoming matches, as coach Marco Xhampaolo has started to consider the Albanian midfielder. He had lost his place in the lineup since the former Milan coach took the bench, but the latter now sees the red and black player with a different eye.
Before the match against Cagliari, Giampaolo praised Ramadan's reaction during this period, while emphasizing that perhaps the fact that the midfielder had not appeared in the best form was because he had been convinced that he had a secure place among the starters.
" At the end of the match with Empoli, I praised Ramadan for responding willingly, but especially because he has always worked and in the recent period he has seen himself not playing, but he has reacted in an excellent professional manner.
It's right to be angry because he's not playing, but he's catalyzed that anger in the best possible way and I have to say he's been there every day working. He was more turned off before... maybe he was more confident about some hierarchies and the response was positive based on the journey he's made. I have no doubts about him compared to the beginning, I see him significantly improved ," Giampaolo told the media about Ramadan.
