Ernest Muçi turned into a hero at Legia Warsaw, as with the goal scored in the 100th minute in the return match against Austria Vienna, he managed to give the qualification to the Polish team.
The Albanian talent entered the field in the 94th minute, as only 6 minutes were enough to solve the qualification. In the statement given immediately to the media after the match, Muçi said:
" It was a very crazy match. The boys gave everything and deserved to win this challenge. It was very important for us to go to the next round. I am very happy that I entered the field and we won the game. I'am happy! The whole time I was on the bench I was thinking that there are no more games beyond this. When it was 3-4 I thought: "Okay, extra time". But I was lucky that we had another chance and I scored.
Of course I wanted to do that. But it's more about instinct. I don't think about anything when I enter the field. I make decisions in the moment. I am happy that I made the right decision and we won the game.
The next opponent? It will be a difficult game, but this was also a difficult game. To get to the groups we have to make history again against them. We are ready and we will prepare. I hope we will make it.
