Italy seems to have been thinking more than just temporarily when it decided to sign two Albania U-15 players who had excelled in their recent appearances. The Blues seem set to permanently snap up the two players, who have been part of the Red and Black squads and have made the difference with goals and assists.
Juventus midfielders Deni Duka and Atalanta midfielder Samuel Prendi, after spending the last few months as part of the Albanian U-15 national team, have been tested in the Italian U-15 regional training camps in recent weeks. And both seem to have passed the first phase of selection without any problems.
This, after Italy has gathered them for a second phase, where a group of players will play friendly matches among themselves so that in the end a team will be selected that will participate in the "UEFA Development" tournament representing the blue team. The reason why Duka and Prendi left Albania, with which they had been protagonists, remains to be learned. But what seems clear is that Italy is getting ready to make room in its ranks for two young talents.
