Midfielder Ylber Ramadani gave an interview to "Corriere dello Sport" where he talked about the transfer to Lecce and the qualification for "EURO 2024".
"I don't feel like a leader, there is too much in the dressing room. It is clear, however, that this role requires a big personality. I feel good, central midfielder is a position I like and I have to admit that D'Aversa helped me a lot. He explained to me what he wants from me and in which aspects I can improve. I replaced a player like Hjulmand who was a fan favorite last year. I had great support from the fans and their closeness pushed me day after day to give everything."
How did Corvinjo convince you?
"One phone call was enough. When my agent spoke with the director, we immediately knew that Leçe was the right choice for me. Really, it didn't take long...".
Do you dream of the European Championship?
"Of course I think about it, we can be a surprise. Our group is a group that can do very well, many of us play in major European leagues. And the young guys can do very well too. It will be a great adventure.”
