Marash Kumbulla had a difficult season, where in the last weeks of the championship he suffered a serious injury. In the match against Milan, Kumbulla had a collision with Oliver Zhiru and as a result, he tore the ligament.
The operation went well for the red and black defender, as he has started the recovery phase. The defender has appeared today at the training center of Rome and will be followed by the technical and medical staff, to enable a faster recovery of the footballer.
Italian media reports that Kumbulla can return to 100% only at the end of the year, as such injuries are severe and recovery takes up to 6 months. In the following weeks, Kumbulla is expected to resume training on the green field without straining to play.
The defender will also miss the remaining matches of the Albanian National Team, which are valid for the qualifiers of the European Championship "EURO 2024".
