The President of the Football Federation in Kosovo, Agim Ademi, spoke yesterday in the context of the 8th anniversary of FIFA membership.
" We cannot describe the importance of this event without saluting the work and sacrifice of all those who contributed to this journey. On this occasion, I want to thank all generations of footballers, especially those of the period of sacrifice, coaches, federation and club officials, donors, as well as all those who have worked tirelessly to keep football and our common dream alive. . Without the vision, commitment, love and passion of everyone who was part of football for two and a half decades of isolation, Kosovo would not have achieved this success.
On this special date, I also thank the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, for his continued support and sympathy for our country. Now, eight years after membership, Kosovo, thanks to the support of UEFA and FIFA, has been transformed into a success story. Together, we have made great strides in popularizing and developing soccer and helping our youth get involved in the sport. The Football Federation of Kosovo is committed to further advance football in our country. With the drafting of the "Foundations of the Future 2024-2028" strategy and the work on improving the infrastructure together with the country's institutions, we are determined to ensure a bright future. On behalf of the EC of FFK, I wish all the football community and the citizens of Kosovo on this marked day and I am convinced that by working together we will build quality football and a stronger Kosovo in the international arena.
