Kosovo will face Slovakia in a World Cup play-off match in March. According to a recent decision, the match will be played in the capital, Bratislava, at the Tehelne Pole stadium, a facility with a capacity of 22,000 seats, the same as that of "Air Albania".
" We used the time we had available responsibly after the play-off draw. The stadiums in Bratislava, Trnava and Kosice were taken into consideration. We examined all the circumstances, conditions, possibilities and complexities of preparing for such a match.
"The logistics of the arrival and stay of both teams, the capacity of the stadium, the possibility of operational intervention in the event of an unforeseen event had a significant impact. In the end, we decided to play the match with Kosovo in Bratislava and we also forwarded this information to UEFA ," said SFZ Secretary General Peter Palencik.
