The Kosovo national team achieved a historic result today, advancing to League B of the Nations League. The Dardanians defeated Iceland 1-3 in the return match played in Murcia, Spain, while four days earlier they had won 2-1 in Pristina.
In the return match, Kosovo's hero was Vedat Muriqi, who scored three goals in the 35th, 45+3 and 79th minutes.
With this hat-trick, he reaches 31 goals in 57 matches with the national team, becoming Kosovo's top scorer in history.
Now Franco Foda's team can enjoy the success they deserve, while from the new edition of the Nations League they will play with stronger teams. We recall, Albania was relegated to League C after a disappointing performance.
