Besiktas held a press conference with president Serdal Adali, where the upcoming winter transfer window was presented. Among them was the Albanian national team midfielder, Kristjan Asllani, who was transferred on loan from Inter, after his experience with Torino.
Six-month loan with purchase option
According to the Turkish club's management, the agreement with Inter is in the form of a six-month loan. If Besiktas decides to permanently purchase the player's card, the Blues could benefit from an amount of up to 13 million euros.
President Serdal Adali expressed optimism about the Albanian midfielder's contribution, using words of appreciation for him.
" We signed Kristjan Asllani on a six-month loan, but I believe he will play well here and stay with us. Since the day he arrived, he has shown excellent adaptation to the spirit and emotions of Besiktas. We call him Asllani, but in my opinion, he is a real eagle ," Adali declared.
The role of Muç and Rashica in the transfer
For his part, Asllani revealed that before the transfer he had communicated with two other Albanian footballers who play in Turkey, Ernest Muçi and Milot Rashica. According to the midfielder, the conversations with them positively influenced his decision to join Besiktas.
" I didn't speak to Hakan Çalhanoglu before the transfer. I spoke to Ernest Muçi and Milot Rashica, and they said very good things about Besiktas ," Asllani said.
The Albanian midfielder also apologized for the red card he received on his debut with the Besiktas jersey, describing the episode as a moment he regrets.
Asllani's transfer is considered one of the most important moves of the winter transfer window for the Turkish club, while it remains to be seen whether the loan will turn into a permanent deal at the end of the season.
