Leaving Tirana and Partizan "dry", the former national team player chooses to return to Belarus

Valon Ahmedi is Neman Grodno's newest player. The former national team player has signed a contract valid until the end of the year, after deciding to return to Belarus.

Ahmed has never played in the Premier League and has been linked with a move to Albania several times. Years ago, it was Skënder Gega that the 30-year-old said he sought out at Partizan.

Last summer, it was the turn of Vllaznia and Tirana to express interest in him. An agreement with the fantasy player was not reached.

Ahmed has had a rich career so far. He has played for Soligorsk, Celje, Maribor, Shkëndija, Kiryat Shmona, Sudtirol, Inter Zapresic and Rabotnicki.
