Surprise move in the market, Sokol Cikalleshi is no longer part of the Koniaspor team. The news has been confirmed by the Turkish club itself through a post on the official website, with the midfielder leaving after 4 seasons.
Cikalleshi scored a total of 30 goals and 11 assists with Konia, the most in his career, and now remains a free player on the market. The 34-year-old striker has previously been rumored for a return to Albania, but now he could be ever closer to the realization.
The Albanian striker also became the best foreign scorer in the history of the Turkish team, making a valuable contribution.
