On December 13, the 21-year-old was worth 4 million euros as a professional footballer. The increase is spectacular if we compare it to less than a year ago.
On June 4, 2024, on the eve of the start of the European Championship finals, Mitaj's card was 2 million euros, so in just 10 months, he has increased 2.5 times.
Not bad at all for a player from a modest national team, such as Albania, and who has so far played in Greece, Russia and most recently in Saudi Arabia.
However, everything has an explanation and the left-back has not been held in contempt. Mitaj has been one of the best players for his team, Al Ittihad, who lead the Saudi Professional League, and are close to the title.

Mitaj has played just 90 minutes since the start of February after suffering an abdominal muscle injury. He underwent surgery in London and has yet to return to the pitch.
