Vllaznia has officially appointed Migen Memelli as the new coach of the red and blue team. Sports director Elvis Plori has introduced the technician as well as the new deputy coach, Ndriçim Shtubina, who will accompany him on this adventure on the red and blue bench.
The 43-year-old born in Lushnja will take over the "reins" of the team for the new football season and the aim is to return to the trophies.
Memelli was the "helmsman" of Skënderbeu, while he also directed Laçi. We remember that Goce Sedloski left Vllaznia a few weeks ago.
The former coach of Skenderbeu gave his first interview to the media as coach of the red and blue team, where he said:
" I want to thank the club, the president and director Plor for trusting me. It is a very difficult job to be the coach of Vllaznia. A job that has been entrusted to me with great responsibility. I will try to be an honest, hardworking person to justify the trust and objectives that Vllaznia has. First, a competitive team must be formed and then we can take small and safe steps.
From tomorrow we start work to make the best possible selection. Shkodra deserves such a team that wants to move forward. In the last 4 years, Vllaznia has won the Cup 2 times and thanks to this continuity we should do the same.
Since I am at the beginning of my career, the steps are taken gradually. I believe that I spent a period of my life with Laçi and Skënderbeu. It is a job with a lot of responsibility .
Message to fans who have been unhappy with you?
The clashes we have had from the past belong to football, they are small frictions. The football community is a very big family. We are already a family. I am conscientious and responsible in my work and that is what I promise them.
We have not yet spoken to the president, as he is abroad. When he returns we will talk closely.
Champion title and marketing?
First team building and then other things. We have a number of players, we will look at them carefully, we will discuss them. Discussions will be for the benefit of the team.
How do you expect the collaboration with two icons of Vllaznia, Plor and Shtubina?
Since they are both models of success, cooperation and conversations are constructive and there will be no lack of communication and work for Vllaznina.
